Senses
This one is on a super cool client who is hearing impaired. The cross-section of the eye has a less noticeable plant extending from the ground with the sun hanging low. It was a really fun tattoo to do.
Whale Theft
My wife has been wanting a Purple Humpback Whale inspired by a combination of her love for whales, a piece of art she likes, and some song lyrics. Whales are just plain cool in general, I stole her idea and got my whale a week before I did hers. She may have been a bit annoyed…

Heirloom Expo, Santa Rosa, CA.
Awesome day! One of those ones where the white fluffy clouds are spattered over the blue. I believe those clouds are Cumulus, correct me if I am wrong.

There were so many great people explaining seed saving and the importance of growing your own supply. Plenty of information on GMO’s, using livestock to benefit your garden, and aquaponics.

Some stores having some oddities.

The trinkets in the jars being some of my favorites.
Lunch was upon us!

On our way out we stopped at a nursery, a specific nursery I will not name. Not because I don’t want you to know, but simply because I can’t remember. Anyway, I had to have been 6 or 7 when my family saw Martin Yan of “Yan Can Cook,” at the same nursery. We asked for a photo op, but he was not very interested… can you blame him though?

It is always nice to bring home a few plants, learn about others, and get a little inspiration too.
Tahoe
Tahoe is better than I can remember. Last time I ventured here I was in the first grade, granted all I recall is casinos, arcades and doing a bit of sledding. It is one of those places where you can explore, and truly get lost in something beautiful.

I am tattooing full time out of San Francisco’s east bay. You can also find me doing guest spots at different shops across the country throughout the year.
